DAYTONA BEACH, Fla – Now that Daytona 500 qualifying is in the books, the lineup for Thursday night’s Gander Outdoors Duels In Daytona (7 p.m. ET/FS1/MRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) are set too.
That’s one of the more underrated stories of the day on Sunday afternoon from Daytona International Speedway. While the front row for next Sunday’s Great American Race is set, the other 38 spots will be determined by Thursday night’s twin 150 mile races.
Both fields will be led to green by an all Hendrick front row. HMS has won five Duels since 2013 including four straight years.
JGR has also won five Duels in that time frame as between Hendrick, JGR and Penske, they’ve won 11 straight Duels dating back to 2013.
