Radune and Eric Smith of Race Review Online are joined by second-year IndyCar driver Zach Veach, a former Indy Lights race winner who was less than 24 hours from losing an offer to drive the 2017 Indianapolis 500 when a sponsor stepped in. Group 1001 ownership liked the experience so much, they gave Veach a 3-year deal to drive on the circuit fulltime. The trio also looks ahead to Sunday’s Honda Grand Prix of Alabama, where Josef Newgarden won last year’s rain-hampered race.
